Waiting time for appointments depends on the time of year, how many animals you have, and where you are located. We generally book 2-4 weeks in advance; from March through June, we may book up to 6 weeks in advance. No minimum number of animals required for an appointment. No farm call charges.
Ed grew up around horses. From Pony Club, to 3-Day Eventing, and fox hunting, Ed is a true horseman. He began floating teeth in the 1980s after apprenticing with Dale Jeffreys. Ed's clients range from the backyard horse owner to international competitors competing at the Olympic level of all equestrian disciplines.
Ed takes a holistic approach to floating, using only hand tools and a speculum. No drugs unless warranted and administered by either the owner or their veterinarian. If a power float is recommended, Ed will refer you to a qualified practitioner.
Removing wolf teeth should be done around the age of 3. Removing the wolf teeth and other necessary extractions can be done under the right conditions. When appropriate, Ed will refer you to your veterinarian or local surgical office.
